On the afternoon of January 31, 2025 I made an announcement on Instagram and Facebook that I would be taking February 2025 off of social media and not returning until March.

I took the month of January off social media last year and wrote about how it went here.

This year I took February instead of January off of social media and wanted to share how the experience went my second time around. My motivations for taking the break were different this time so that impacted how I felt.

A Winter Weekend in Detroit, Michigan

Detroit, Michigan may not be the first place people think of for a weekend escape (particularly in winter!), but we were pleasantly surprised with the city. Even in winter we found plenty to do and see and via bundling up and lots of indoor stops, we felt like we covered quite a bit of ground. Here’s what my other half and I got up to during our February visit to Detroit.

Noelle’s Monthly Recap: February 2017

After a January that dragged on, February seemingly flew by. Early and mid month were spent laying low in England, with a day trip to Evesham and staycation in Cheltenham.
