Have you ever experienced that perfect feeling when your travel timing aligns just right? That’s exactly how I felt last month during our family trip to Rome. At first, we hesitated to plan a visit, concerned by Rome’s reputation for being crowded and hectic. However, choosing to travel in January turned out to be an excellent decision. Noelle’s Monthly Recap: December 2025

December flew by as I enjoyed Christmas festivities and an end of the month trip to Morocco. I attended a Christmas carol concert with friends, did two rounds of celebrating Christmas with Mark’s family, and drank plenty of mulled wine and gingerbread lattes. At the end of the month, Markell flew to London and we had a few days in the city before joining my dad and uncle for a trip to Morocco, a new country for me. A New Years Experiment: One Month Without Social Media

On the afternoon of December 31, 2023 I made an announcement on Instagram and Facebook that I would be taking January 2024 off of social media and not returning until February.

Is It Good to Be a Lazy Traveler?

Guys, after my December of travel I was exhausted. I moved flats early in the month, spent a weekend in Germany, and flew through Dublin to save money when going home to Washington, D.C. for the holidays which turned out to be totally chaotic – basically everything that could go wrong did go wrong on my outbound journey. By the time I arrived back in England in January, I was borderline ready to not leave my couch.
