Much of June was spent exploring more of my home state of Virginia, although I did have a chance to hop across the pond to England to visit with friends for a week. The saying “Time flies when you’re having fun” certainly proved to be true this month as I spent more than half the month doing what I love most – traveling!

England came alive this month with several sunny days and flowers blooming all over. And, for the first time since last March, I went an entire month without flying anywhere! That didn’t stop me from traveling though, as I took the train up to Scotland for a weekend in Glasgow and Loch Lomond National Park, followed by a day trip around the north Cotswolds by car. After a January that dragged on, February seemingly flew by. Early and mid month were spent laying low in England, with a day trip to Evesham and staycation in Cheltenham. Things got busier later in the month though as I flew to the Baltics for a nine day adventure through Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia – look for coverage on that trip this month.
